Laxman Vaidya is the Founder of Lavik Estates Limited. Prior to this he was employed by HDFC Property Fund, one of India?s premier real estate fund managers. HDFC Property Fund has invested approximately Rs 5,500 crores in Indian real estate. In this role Laxman focused on real estate opportunities where he invested, managed and exited close to Rs 1500 crore worth of deals. Prior to this Laxman was employed by Angelo, Gordon, as an Analyst between 2002 and 2005, covering the convertible bond arbitrage strategy in the U.S. He received an M.B.A degree in Real Estate & Finance, from the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania and an LLB/ BA in Law from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Laxman is fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English.
